What is The Forge?
The Forge is a popular mining and crafting game on Roblox where players mine ores, upgrade pickaxes, and forge valuable items. The goal is to progress from the basic Stone Pickaxe all the way to the legendary Demonic Pickaxe, unlocking new ores and forging recipes along the way.
The core gameplay revolves around mining ores to earn gold, which you use to buy better pickaxes. Better pickaxes have higher Power (allowing you to mine rarer ores) and higher Luck (increasing your chances of finding rare ores). You can also forge ores into more valuable items for extra profit.
Success in The Forge requires understanding which ores give the best income for your current pickaxe, when to upgrade, and which forging recipes are profitable. This wiki covers all these topics and more!
Core Game Mechanics
Pickaxe System
Pickaxes are your main tool for mining. Each pickaxe has two key stats: Power determines which ores you can mine, and Luck increases your chances of finding rare ores.

- โข Power ranges from 1 to 20,000
- โข Luck ranges from 0 to 10,000
- โข Total cost to Demonic: ~731M gold
Ore System
Ores are what you mine to earn gold. Each ore has a base value, spawn rate, and required Power to mine. Rarer ores are worth more but appear less frequently.

- โข Luck increases rare ore spawn rates

Race System
Races provide permanent bonuses to your mining. Each race has different strengths - some boost Luck, others boost mining speed or sell prices.

- โข Elf: +15% Luck, +5% mining speed
- โข Dwarf: +20% mining speed, +10% sell price
- โข Demon: +25% Luck, +15% sell price
- โข Angel: +20% Luck, +10% speed, +5% sell
- โข Dragon: +30% Luck, +20% sell (rare)
Forging System
Forging lets you combine ores into more valuable items. Each recipe has a success rate - higher tier recipes have lower success rates but higher potential profits.

Progression Guide
๐ฑ Early Game (0-50K Gold)
Focus on upgrading your pickaxe in order: Stone โ Iron โ Gold โ Diamond. Don't skip any pickaxes - each one unlocks new ores that are essential for progression.
Key Focus: Mine the highest-value ore you can access. Use the calculator to see which ore gives the best income per minute with your current pickaxe.
โก Mid Game (50K-500K Gold)
Continue upgrading through Emerald โ Ruby โ Sapphire โ Amethyst. At this stage, consider rerolling for a better race if you're still Human. Demon or Angel are excellent choices.
Key Focus: Start using the forging calculator to identify profitable recipes. Some forging recipes become very profitable at this stage.
๐ฅ Late Game (500K-50M Gold)
Push through Obsidian โ Mythril โ Adamantite โ Celestial โ Void. This is where Luck becomes extremely important - invest in Luck Totems and aim for Dragon race if possible.
Key Focus: Maximize your Luck bonuses. The difference between 0% and 70% Luck bonus can double or triple your rare ore income.
๐ End Game (50M+ Gold)
The final push to Lightite โ Demonic Pickaxe. This requires patience and optimization. Use all available bonuses and focus on the highest-value ores.
Key Focus: Use the time estimator to plan your sessions. With optimal play, you can reach Demonic in 2-4 weeks of regular play.
Essential Strategy Tips
Pickaxe Priority
Always prioritize pickaxe upgrades over other purchases. A better pickaxe unlocks higher-value ores and increases your income significantly more than any other upgrade.
Luck Stacking
Stack Luck bonuses from race, totem, and pickaxe. The combined effect dramatically increases rare ore spawns. Demon race + Luck Totem V can give +65% Luck!
Smart Forging
Not all forging recipes are profitable! Use the forging calculator to check expected profit before crafting. Low success rate recipes can lose you money.
