Select Your Ores in The Forge Calculator

Start by browsing the ore selection panel on the right side of The Forge Calculator. Each ore displays its name and multiplier value (e.g., Arcane Crystal 7.50x, Darkryte 6.30x). Click on any ore to add it to your forge slots. The Forge Calculator allows you to select up to 4 different ore types per forge. Use the search bar to quickly find specific ores like Diamond, Ruby, or Uranium.

View Forge Chances & Multiplier

As you add ores, The Forge Calculator automatically updates the Forge Chances panel on the left. You'll see the probability of getting Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic weapons. The center panel shows your total multiplier and estimated damage output. The Forge Calculator uses the average of all selected ore multipliers to calculate your final weapon stats.

Use The Forge Calculator Inventory Optimizer

Click the "Inventory Optimizer" button to access advanced features of The Forge Calculator. Enter the quantity of each ore you own in your inventory. The Forge Calculator will analyze your collection and suggest the best possible forge combinations. This feature is especially useful when you have many different ores and want to maximize your weapon multiplier.

Get Best Craft Suggestions from The Forge Calculator

After entering your inventory, click "Suggest Best Crafts" in The Forge Calculator. The tool will automatically select the highest multiplier ores from your collection. You can also use "Find best crafts per" dropdown to optimize for Legendary or Mythic weapon chances instead of raw multiplier. The Forge Calculator makes it easy to plan your forging strategy.

Switch Between Weapon and Armor Modes

The Forge Calculator supports both weapon and armor forging. Use the WEAPON/ARMOR toggle in the ore selection panel to switch modes. When forging armor, you can choose between TANK mode (prioritizing defense) or DAMAGE mode in The Forge Calculator's Inventory Optimizer. ⚡ NEW: Activate Powerful TraitsADVANCED

The Forge Calculator now features a Trait Activation System! When you add 10-20%+ of specific ores (like Darkryte, Demonite, or Arcane Crystal), you activate special passive effects such as 15% evasion, 25% burn chance, or AoE explosions. The Trait Activation panel shows all active traits, their strength, and tier ranking (S+/S/A/B). You can activate up to 3 traits simultaneously for maximum power!

Use the Trait Recipe Builder below the main calculator to select a target trait and get an optimized recipe that balances trait activation with high damage multipliers. Click "Apply Recipe to Forge" to instantly load the recommended ore combination.

The Forge Calculator's Monte Carlo RNG Simulation runs 1,000-10,000 virtual forges to predict your actual results! Instead of just showing average damage, the simulation provides detailed statistics including damage range (min-max), 90% confidence interval, quality distribution (Broken → Masterwork), and precise rarity chances (Common → Mythic).
